Nice looking door, Chris!
I strung up #21 this morning.
Figured African Mahogany, Lutz.
This one is the twin to the Peruvian Walnut guitar I just finished.
Side by Side this one seems to have a rounder tone.

Me? I'm sanding out a guitar for my son. This is his birthday!

Opps  Is that sand through I see?

Voiced and closed up the box on #60, a Euro spruce/padauk classical sized steel string with a 23.75" scale:

Oh, and stickering and drying some boards I resawed earlier this week. Think this ziricote board might have some case hardening on the surface?

Scalloping top braces on a EIR/Sitka dred.

I sawed some Ziricote that did the exact same thing - the outer board cupped & split. After closer examination, I noticed that the inner boards were trying to also. I flooded the crack(s) & ends with CA & stickered it.

It eventually stopped cracking.

Is that Amazon too?

Necks, a couple of one piece Strat necks, neck and fingerboard for a D-18 and a second neck for my OLF 2013 new builder challenge, (I'll explain that in a couple of days)

Finished up the L00-Nick Lucas-SCGC H13 thing I've been working on.

Ohio Black Walnut, Lutz, Honduran Rosewood w/Mahogany neck. My first 100% scratch build (had used "store bought" fingerboards previously).

I think I need to give the lacquer some more time, I could smell it when I put my nose to the guitar when buffing.

It's been a fantastic summer and we've been quite busy recreating, but I did have time to work on my guitar project this weekend. Finally closed the box and managed to cut the purfling/binding channels. This is my first 100% scratch build. So far, so good...

Kevin: Pardon the pun, but that is a real "Looker" of a guitar. Congrats, bet it sounds nice with that combination of woods.

Beautiful guitar, Ted -- easily one of the nicest I've ever seen here on the OLF!!! The centerstrip and tail remind me of some of the Kostal's I've seen. And the Brazilian RW is especially nice.

I haven't posted any of my guitars here in a few years -- so here's a Sinker Redwood / Walnut guitar I recently completed and sent to a customer last week.

Love the shape of this Simon. Did you alter the conventional shape somewhat or did you work from an existing design?
